Egg Problem

As my boat approached an old misty island, an owl passed over the boat. The island was so misty I couldn’t see anything but a shiny golden gate. It was the entrance to the island. After that I could see a clean egg laying still. I got off the boat and trotted up to the egg and hit it. It didn’t dent. I tried to move it but it didn’t move. Then it launched in the sky and exploded. The shell melted like a piece of ice in a boiling cauldron. Two slimy orange wings flapped. A blackish tail slapped the ground and turned around. A black horned head turned around and took it’s first breath and out came fire. Its chin was made of a horn. I jumped back so I wouldn’t get burnt. It looked sad and lonely. I took it aboard my craft and I noticed it was a dragon. As I sailed away I saw the dragon yelp, “Lalalola” then breathed a breath of fire. I tried to calm it down. It shook the boat. Then a black spot appeared in the distance. Another dragon! When the dragon came, it nodded at me as if saying “Thank you”. Then it brought the baby far away. I will never forget that dragon.
